FAQs
Q: My order hasn't arrived yet, can you tell me when it will arrive and can you track this item for me?
A: All UK orders are sent 1st class - some will now have a basic level of tracking but this will only be updated once Royal Mail has attempted the first delivery. The tracking is mainly to help with rearranging delivery.
Tracked delivery is available on orders but this must be purchased at the checkout and does not come under free delivery.
For international tracked orders, please follow your tracking code for more information
- Royal Mail can experience delays due to the busy Christmas period. Please understand this is out of our control and thank you for your patience.
- Please see our returns and exchanges section for details on usual arrival times and details on delayed or lost orders. This time must elapse before we can claim compensation for lost mail and then send a replacement. We will not be resending or replacing any orders in December until we can follow up lost/delayed orders with Royal Mail from 4th January 2024.

Q: How do I flatten my print and where can I get a frame that fits?
A: Please see the tips below in this section with tips on removing and flattening your prints.
You can find good quality frames from most homeware stores including Ikea, John Lewis and many homeware stores. We use Kenro frames which you can find in some retailers. Locally in Bristol we love Niche and Sky in Clifton who create ready made and custom frames.

Emy Lou Holmes Additional Info:
POSTER INFO:
All of our prints are printed on good-standard card or art paper, usually around 250/300gsm in weight. Depending on the size they are either digital , recycled or silk print. We try to make sure that colours match as closely as they appear on your screen but obviously due to printing formats and processing this will differ slightly.
We can do any print in larger sizes of A2 & A1. Please get in touch if you are interested by emailing info@emylouholmes.com
REMOVING YOUR POSTER:
Please be careful when removing your poster from the tube. Instead of pulling it out, which can cause dents, slowly shake the box with one end open, the poster should gently slide out. Once half the poster is out of the tube, carefully slide it out.
FLATTENING POSTERS:
Posters will sometimes stay rolled after they have been delivered. Do not attempt to flatten out a poster by rolling it back on itself as this will result in damage and creasing. The best way to flatten a poster is to lay it on a flat surface and place a few heavy items on top (such as books) and leave for a day or so. The print should then be ready to frame!
FRAMING:
Our prints are made ideally for framing, not only because they look better, but because it keeps the print in the best condition possible. It reduces fading and damage to the print, which is all you could really ask for. Our prints are all standard framing size so fit frames from most stores such as IKEA, Wilkinsons and Supermarket homeware departments.
